Part masterclass, part laboratory, part creative-sanctuary for our inner writer, this class will explore how to rejuvinate your writing process.
Also, how to start or finish the big projects you've wanted to work on, and how to tap into the abundance of stories, poems, and novels within you.
We will examine the three parts of the writing psyche - The Writer, The Inner Critic, and The Slacker - as a platform for freeing our creativity and producing new work.
In the process we will explore traditional narrative structures alongside the more wily world of experimental writing.
The course is excellent for both beginners as well as more experienced writers.
Alexander has something for everyone!
The teaching is in English, but you are welcome to write in Danish if you prefer. Alexander also speaks Danish (he has a Danish mom) and will be able to give feedback in Danish too!
The course takes place at The Karen Blixen Museum just north of Copenhagen from 10-17 both days.
Full catering from Café Madam and admission to the museum is included in the price.
Remember to bring writing accessories such as pen & paper, notebook and/or laptop. There are plenty of cords in the room.
If you plan to stay overnight in Copenhagen, we can recommend Hotel Rungstedgaard - literally next door to The Karen Blixen Museum and just a stone throw from the teaching venue.
Max 12 participants!
